About Cambridge University for Reproductive Rights
Cambridge University for Reproductive Rights (est. 2022) is a forum for students to learn about, discuss, and campaign for reproductive rights - including abortion; contraception; fertility treatment; parenting rights; reproductive, maternal, and trans healthcare; and sex education. We are a non-partisan and evidence-based group, bringing together people from any gender, background, or political home to explore and support reproductive rights.

Co-President
Emma Munday
Emma is a third-year studying engineering at Queens’ College.
Last year, she co-founded the society and served as Treasurer; this year, she'll be leading as Co-President.
Her passion for reproductive justice stems from a committed belief in individual liberty, to which bodily autonomy is integral

Vice-President & Campaigns

Maria is an incoming graduate medicine student and an honorary research fellow in reproductive and sexual health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has experience in research and advocacy in the field of abortion in Poland and Britain, including the largest ever study of abortion in the UK!

Secretary
Florence Jarvis
Flo studies history and is at Emmanuel College. She describes reproductive rights campaigning as feeling compulsory, both as a feminist in the twentieth-century, and to advocate for all marginalised genders and for bodily autonomy as an overall principle.

Events Officer
Hannah Webb
Hannah is a molecular biology PhD Candidate at Darwin, studying genome stability in the germline at the MRC LMB.
Outside of the lab, she's especially passionate in activism about women's menstrual and hormonal health - and moonlights as the lead singer of the Galapagogos!

Treasurer
Isha Harris
Isha is a third-year medical student at Queens' College.
She has a special interest in evidence-based health policy and combatting medical information, serving also on the committee of Cambridge Students Against Pseudoscience.

Membership & Development
Valeriya Damola
Valeriya is a second-year studying HSPS at Churchill.
She sees CURR as an important space for education, discussion, and collaboration and is particularly interested in promoting reproductive justice for people of colour, given the racial discrimination seen so frequently in the medical sphere.

Speakers Officer
Archie McCann
Archie is a fourth-year engineer at Catz, who has been a member of CURR since its launch. He sees reproductive rights and bodily autonomy as integral parts of freedom, which must be defended for everybody. He is also a volunteer with Abortion Rights UK, and has helped to steward pro-choice protests.

Comms
Alice Binnington
Alice studies Classics at St Edmund's. She has worked in Communications for a few NGOs and has been a member of the activist group the Supermajority since 2020.
She has a special interest in bodily autonomy and a woman's educated right to choose.
